Oppo A93s 5G launched in China

The smartphone features a triple rear camera and runs on MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC


Oppo has launched yet another 5G phone in China which is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 700SoC. Oppo A93s 5G has a triple camera setup at the back and also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has a hole-punch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and 600nits of brightness. The phone will go on sale from July 30th and nothing has been said on its international launch.

The phone is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,900). The only available variant is the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage option. But there are three colour options available namely, Early Summer Light Sea, Summer Night Star River, and White Peach Soda.

Oppo A93s 5G has a ColorOS 11.1 which is based on Android 11. The screen is a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also has 405ppi pixel density, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 1500:1 contrast ratio.

The triple rear camera comprises a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. It has various modes such as support night scene, video, photo, portrait, slow motion, time-lapse, AI ID photo, cute shooting, and many others. The front camera is 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture and includes many modes that the rear camera supports.

The battery is 5000mAh and supports 18W fast charging. Other than 5G, it includes USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity options. The phone weighs 188 grams.
