Redmi Note 10 JE with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC and triple rear cameras launched

An improved version of the Redmi Note 10 5G has been launched in Japan as Redmi Note 10 JE. The MediaTek SoC in Redmi Note 10 5G was replaced by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. This is the eighth addition to the Redmi Note 10 series. It has a similar design as that of Redmi Note 10 JE which features a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera in the center and a triple rear camera setup. 

In India, Redmi Note 10T 5G was launched in two storage variants. The 4GB + 64GB storage is priced at Rs.13,999 and the 6GB + 128GB storage variant at Rs.15,999. 

The pricing of the Redmi Note 10 JE is not yet confirmed. It will be available in a single configuration with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option and will come in two different colours- Chrome Silver and Graphite Grey. The purchase can be made from August 13th in Japan.

The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 1,500:1 contrast ratio. It also has a 360-degree ambient light sensor. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and the 64GB internal storage can be expanded by using a microSD card.

The triple rear camera setup has a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera features an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls. These features are the same as Redmi Note 10 5G. It includes 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The device has also sensors like e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and Infrared along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. 

The 4,800mAh battery supports 18W fast charging. It has a rating of IPX8/IPX6 and weighs about 200 grams.
