Movies Anywhere is a movie streaming hub that brings together all the films that the user purchase from different digital stores. It has recently added a new option for lists on the platform. It will help the users by systematically arranging their movies and will provide personalized suggestions based on the already purchased movies. A new My Lists tab is now visible near the tab My Movies. 

The library on Movies Anywhere took some work to organize earlier. Movies Anywhere is a bit different from the popular streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. It has a unique collection of films on its platform. It tries to bring down the number of times a movie appears in different lists. Movies will be thoroughly grouped into the list that represents their category the most. 

My Lists feature also take into consideration the users’ account viewing behaviour. It hasn’t given many details on how this works. But, when a user watches a few minutes of the film, the platform will analyze the type of movies that the user will be interested in when the lists are made. The team of Movies Anywhere has classified the available content into almost 2000 different categories. These categories are mainly based on genres, franchises, people, and themes. Movies based on similar things will be automatically arranged into the same category. These will be marked as “automatic lists”. Users can also add and modify lists. 

The users have no access to modify lists on the Movies Anywhere smart TV app. Only browsing is allowed now. But it can be modified by connecting it to the user’s phone and making changes there. It will thus be changed in the smart TV. This update is rather useful for users. The tons of movies that are purchased during sales or redeemed by Blu-ray purchases can thus be effectively organized. The platform says that the update is made as a response to the user requests.
