Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has expanded its Y series lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo Y400 Pro 5G. Positioned in the mid-range category, the device brings a stylish ultra-slim design, curved AMOLED display, AI-powered features, and a powerful battery. At just 7.49mm in thickness, it’s one of the slimmest phones in its segment.
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G will go on sale starting June 27, 2025, and will be available through Flipkart, Amazon, Vivo India’s online store, and authorised retail outlets. The phone comes in three colour options: Freestyle White, Nebula Purple, and Fest Gold.

The Y400 Pro features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, along with the Mali G615 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Running on FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15, the smartphone houses a 5,500mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
On the photography front, it includes a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the device offers a 32MP front camera with support for 4K video recording.
