Twitter Spaces to notify which ones your friends are listening to

Twitter is avidly promoting Spaces to attract more users to its relatively new platform. The new feature allows users to see someone they follow is listening in on a Space. This notification will be present in the top bar which earlier had the Fleets. The feature will be added to some iOS and Android users. This update was notified in the Spaces Twitter account

After Fleets was taken down, the top bar was entirely dedicated to Spaces. Earlier, it showed the Spaces that were hosted by the users’ followers. Now the users can see if their followers are listening to one. If the users don’t want others to know what Spaces they are listening to, then they can turn off the option “allow followers to see which Spaces you’re listening to “under the “Privacy and safety in the “Settings and privacy” menu. This won’t restrict people in the Spaces room that the user is listening to from seeing the user.

Twitter is working on ways to boost Spaces. Last week, it added an option to make Spaces more discoverable by allowing other apps to easily point to Spaces. Twitter also added an option to allow two co-hosts to host a Spaces room.
