The cloud-based PC experience which was launched a few weeks ago, Windows 365 will now be available to business and enterprise customers. Microsoft has given information about how much the access to Windows 365 will cost and the various options available. The price varies according to the plan and comes in the range of $20 – $162 per month per user.
The cloud-based service is offered under two categories- Business and Enterprise. The monthly subscription price of the business customers will be reduced if they can claim the Windows Hybrid Benefit discount and for them, the cheapest plan will be $20 per month instead of $24 per month. This plan will have a cloud-based system with a storage of 64GB, a 1 vCPU, with 2GB RAM. The 2 vCPU plans will start at $28 per month. The 4 vCPU plans and the 8 vCPU plans will respectively be priced at $66/month and $132/month. The priciest plan is $162/month ($158/month with discount) and will have 32GB of RAM with 512GB storage.
The new options are provided by Microsoft at a time when the companies changed the way of their operations and offering more remote-working and hybrid-working environments. This cloud-based service will allow the users to access their PC on any device they want. The service will also include personalized settings and apps as expected of Windows and the companies will have the advantage of management and security features.
