Vivo Y53s launched in India; Sale begins today

Vivo Y53s which was earlier launched in Vietnam and Indonesia was launched in India today. This is the company’s latest device in the Y-series. It has a triple rear camera setup and a waterdrop-style display notch. 

It has two different colour options- Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow. The price for the device is set at Rs. 19,490 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. This is the only variant available for the phone. It will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store, and the Vivo India e-store. It will also be available in all major retail outlets starting today.

Vivo Y53s has dual-SIM (Nano) settings and runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1 on top. The 6.58-inch full-HD+ display has a refresh rate of 60HZ with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 8GB RAM. It also has 3GB of ‘extended RAM’. 

The triple rear camera features a 64MP primary sensor with an f/.79 lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens.

The 128GB storage space can be extended by using a microSD card. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It also has sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The fingerprint scanner is side-mounted. 

Vivo Y53s has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Also, the device measures 164×75.46×8.38mm and weighs 190 grams.
