Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho as an upgrade to Galaxy A12 in Russia. It is similar in specifications as that of the original Galaxy A12 but it will feature a new Exynos chip rather than the MediaTek SoC that the earlier model had. It has come a day before the Galaxy Unpacked event where the company is unveiling its new foldable phones.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho will have a price tag of RUB 11,990 (Rs. 12,100) for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant and the 4GB +64Gb storage variant will have a price tag of RUB 13,990 (Rs. 14,100). The phone will come in Black, Blue, and Red colour options. The device will be currently available only in Russia through the company’s official website.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho will have dual-SIM (Nano) option and will run on Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ PLS TFT display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has an octa-core SoC which is likely to be an Exynos 850 with up to 4GB of RAM. The quad rear camera setup has a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera features an 8MP selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

The internal storage can be extended with the help of a microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack while sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The battery is 5,000mAh which can deliver up to 20 hours of constant Internet usage upon a single charge along with a 15W fast charging. The phone weighs almost 205 grams and measures 164.0×75.8×8.9mm.
