Vivo adds Y33s with MediaTek Helio G80 to its Y series

Vivo has launched Vivo Y33s to its Y series of smartphones. It will feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC and will carry a triple rear camera setup. It will have thick bezels all around its display and a notch for the front camera. It was launched in two colour variants and has only a single configuration. The Extended RAM 2.0 will use the internal storage of the device to act like RAM. 

Vivo Y33s 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model will cost Rs. 17,990. The colour options available are Midday Dream and Mirror Black colours. The phone is available on Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj Finserv EMI Store, and other retail stores. 

Vivo Y33s has dual-SIM (Nano) option with an Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1 operating system. The display is a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 8GB of available RAM and 4GB of extended RAM. The 128GB internal storage can be extended up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card. 

The triple rear camera setup houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera that is placed inside a notch in the display carries a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device enables connection for dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope. Apart from the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, it has a face unlock too. The 5,000mAh battery supports 18W fast charging. The device weighs around 182 grams with dimensions 164.26×76.08x8mm.
