The Realme Band 2 is the company’s latest fitness tracker, which was revealed on September 15th. The new Realme Band has a larger colour display and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, making it a better experience than the original Realme Band, which was released last year. The Realme Band 2 is also water-resistant and claims to have a battery life of up to 12 days on a single charge. A future upgrade to the fitness-tracking wristband will add up to 90 sports modes to help you track your fitness on the go.

The price of the Realme Band 2 has been fixed at MYR 139( roughly Rs. 2,500). Starting September 20, the ring will be available for purchase in Malaysia through the e-commerce site Lazada. The Realme Band 2’s official launch date in India has yet to be confirmed. However, leaks suggest that the fitness band would hit the Indian market in October. In March of last year, the first-generation Realme Band was released in India at a price of Rs. 1,499.

The Realme Band 2 has a 1.4-inch touch display with a resolution of 167×320 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. When compared to the 0.96-inch screen on the original Realme Band, which has an 80×160 pixels resolution, the display is substantially larger. Over 50 different dial faces are available for the Realme Band 2. You can also use your favourite photo as the dial face on the band.

The Realme Band 2 now supports universal 18mm interchangeable wrist straps, thanks to a redesign by Realme. This means you may match the fitness band to your clothing or style by attaching any of your favourite straps to it. A GH3011 sensor is included in the Realme Band 2 to allow for continuous heart-rate monitoring. It is also said to assist users to be alerted if their heart rate rises above a safe level.

The Realme Band 2 adds specialized support for tracking your blood oxygen levels in addition to the heart rate sensor. As is the case with most wearables, the measurement is not certified for diagnosis and medical treatment.

When connected to the Realme Link app, the Realme Band 2 uses a combination of hardware and software to deliver sleep quality analysis. The Android and iOS versions of the software are both available for download. In addition, the Realme Band 2 is made to track a variety of activities and workouts, including cricket, hiking, jogging, and yoga. A total of 90 sports modes will be available via an over-the-air (OTA) update at a later date, according to the business.

The Realme Band 2 has a water resistance rating of up to 50 metres, according to Realme. The smart band can also operate linked gadgets like the Realme Buds Air and household appliances.

The Realme Band 2 supports Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. The band works with devices running Android 5.1 or iOS 11 or higher. It has a 204mAh battery that may last up to 12 days on a single charge. The smart band is 27.3 grams and is 259.8×24.6×12.1mm.
