Micromax has launched its budget smartphone Micromax In 2B in India. This is in the same series as In 1B that came earlier. The Indian company is also expanding its business in the audio project category by launching two new pairs of earphones. The devices are Airfunk 1 and Airfunk 1 Pro.
The smartphone comes in two variants. The 4GB + 64GB storage variant comes at a price of Rs.7,999 and the 6GB + 64GB storage variant comes at Rs. 8,999. It will be available on Flipkart and Micromax’s official website from August 6th.
Micromax In 2B has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch cutout for the selfie camera. It has a plastic build with 8.9mm thickness and weighs 188grams. The colour options available are Blue, Black, and Green. It runs on a UniSOC T610 processor with an octa-core CPU. The T610 SoC has two Cortex-A75 cores running at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8GHz which are backed by the ARM G52 GPU. The internal storage can be expanded by 256GB with the help of a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 11.
The dual-camera setup consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera. The front came is 5MP. The fingerprint sensor is at the back and the phone carries a 5,000mAh battery.
Micromax Airfunk 1 Pro TWS has 13mm dynamic drivers and Qualcomm QCC 3040 chip with active noise cancellation features. It is IP44 rated for its dust resistance and splash-proof. The company claims that earphones can be used for 7 hours without the charging case and up to 32 hours with it. The earphones also support touch inputs for playback control, answering calls, and more.
The Micromax Airfunk 1 has 9mm audio drivers and offers a bass-centric performance. These earphones are also IP44 certified. It can be used for 5 hours and when used with the charging case the time can be extended to 15 hours.
Airfunk 1 is a budget wireless earphone, priced at Rs.1,299 while the Airfunk 1 Pro comes with noise-canceling features and is priced at Rs.2,499.
The sale of these earphones will begin on August 18th and will be available on Flipkart and Micromax’s official website.
