OPPO India has launched its recent Reno series in India, today. The OPPO Reno 6 series which includes OPPO Reno 6 5G and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G was launched by the company. It was launched in China last May with one more model. Both the models are offered in two colour options with a 65W fast-charging battery. Both the models have a single variant in terms of RAM and storage capacity.
OPPO Reno 6 5G comes with 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage while OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G has 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both are available in Aurora and Stellar Black colour variants. They are priced at Rs. 29,990 for the OPPO Reno 6 and Rs. 39,990 for the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G variant. The recent launch also showcased a new blue colour option for the OPPO Enco X TWS earbuds and is on sale for a discounted price along with a price drop for the OPPO Watch for the next seven days.
Reno 6 5G runs on Android 11 based Color OS 11.3 with a 6.43 inch full HD+ flat AMOLED display. The refresh rate is 90 Hz and 180Hz touch sampling rate with MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The camera unit includes a 64MP camera with an 8MP secondary sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens. A 2MP macro shooter is also present. The front camera placed in a hole punch cutout at the top left corner of the display houses a 32MP camera. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS and USB Type C port. The sensors present in the device include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Z-axis linear motor, colour temperature sensor and a gyroscope. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The battery is 4300mAh. The device weighs about 182gms and is 7.59mm thick.
The 6 Pro variant comes with similar features excluding that it has a 6.55inches curved display with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It also has the same sensors as the other model with an exception of an x-axis linear motor in place of the Z-axis linear motor. In this model, the battery is 4500mAh. It is 7.6mm thick and weighs about 177gms.
