Netflix is one of the major players among video streaming platforms. It had announced in July that the platform will expand its services to mobile gaming. This obviously attracts more subscribers to their platform and will play a major role in Netflix’s future as the competition between streaming platforms has become stronger.

The gaming service offered will be similar to Apple Arcade and Google Play Pass. The users who have a subscription to Netflix will be able to access the games provided by the service without paying extra money. The company has stated that it is beginning the test phase in Poland. Only subscribers in Poland will be able to avail of this service, and that too is only on the Android app. For the test, the company has included two games- Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3.

The company has tweeted that the development is still in progress and users might get a little unsatisfactory experience because of this. There is also a lack of games available now. Games won’t be streamed through the cloud. When the users click the Install Now button, they will be redirected to the Google Play Store. From there, users can download the games to their devices after giving Netflix log-in credentials. But the tweet does not provide information about when the service will be expanded to more countries. It is expected to take a while and the addition of new games will also take time.
