Motorola has released the upgraded version of its Motorola Edge S on Thursday as Motorola Edge S Pro. The company has also released Motorola Edge Lite in its Edge series. Both the smartphones will have an OLED display and a triple rear camera setup.
The price for Motorola Edge S Pro will be CNY 2,499 (Rs. 28,700) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant it will be CNY 2,699 (Rs. 31,000). The phone will have two more variants- the 8GB +256GB with a price tag of CNY 2,999 and 12GB + 256GB with a price tag of CNY 3,299.
The Motorola Edge Lite will have a price tag of CNY 2,599 (Rs. 29,800) for its 8GB + 128 GB variant and the 8GB + 256GB variant it will be CNY 2,899.
Motorola Edge S Pro will have Android 11 with MYUI 2.0. The 6.7-inch full-HD+ flexible OLED display will have a 144Hz refresh rate and a 576Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The triple rear camera has a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 16MP ultra-wide shooter. The front camera has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It has an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The battery is 4,520mAh with 30W TurboPower fast charging.
Motorola Edge Lite aka Motorola Edge Lite Luxury Version will run on Android 11 with MYUI 2.0. It has the same display features as that of Motorola Edge S Pro with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.
The triple rear camera setup will have a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 16MP ultra-wide shooter. For the front camera, the Motorola Edge Lite has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.
It includes options for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
