Apple’s iPhone revenue goes up by 50 percent; total revenue reaches $81.4 billion

Apple has been working on its product line-up for the past two years. The pandemic did not deter them from doing so. The financial results the company gained tells us that their hard work has been paid off. The revenue from all its products increased considerably giving the company a good sum of money. The total revenue touched up to $81.4 billion with iPhone revenue alone reaching $39.6 billion. That’s pretty much half the amount.

There is an increase of 36 percent in its quarterly revenue and the profit has also been doubled. A sum of $21.7 billion in net income which is over 93 percent compared to last year.

The biggest growth in Apple’s product categories was displayed by the iPhone. iPhone 12 line-up helped the category to make the revenue grow by 50 percent from that of last year. A $17.5 billion in revenue was collected by Apple’s services division displaying a growth of 33 percent. This is the second in line with the iPhone in terms of revenue collection.

Other products in the wearables, home, and accessories have also shown a growth in their revenues. The M1 mac has helped the otherwise consistent mac number to grow by 16 percent. iPad revenue also increased by 12 percent to reach $7.4 billion. Altogether it was a good time for Apple in terms of its sales and revenue.
