Xiaomi has launched a smartwatch for kids, named as Mi Bunny. The wearable has been priced at Rs. 3,068. It is listed on Mi.com. The smartwatch comes equipped with connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS/GLONASS tracking.
Aimed at kids safety, it also has an SOS button, which when pressed, sends the GPS location of the device clubbed with a few seconds of voice recording. These features are pretty impressive in terms of child safety. It also sends alert messages whenever the kid goes outside the allowed compound. Also, the device supports voice calls and comes pre-loaded with a prepaid SIM card. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and higher.
It is made of plastic with silicone straps and is backed by a 300mAh battery with a standby time of 6 days. It can be very helpful for parents as they can always be aware of the location of the child.
