The 2022 Lexus RC F is now back with its strong V8 engine and this Fuji Speedway Edition is expected to have a limited number of units. It was limited to 60 units for 2021 and Lexus allocates 50 units for 2022.
Lexus is usually available in its exclusive paint colors, Cloudburst Gray and Artic Blast Satin. But the new 2022 Lexus RC will only be available in a satin blue Electric Surge Paint. There is no saying about remaining the black hood which is considered as standard. The 2022 Lexus RC F Fuji Speedway Edition also has benefits of weight-saving measures much like the RC F Track Edition. The vehicle and its V8 engine are superb things but when it comes to mass, it is heavy. Lexus already knew about this from the beginning and had worked on the RC F Track Edition which weighed 177 pounds lesser the standard car. Some of the things worth mentioning here are the use of carbon-fiber aero panels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and a titanium exhaust.
When talking about the engine, the 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine has 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque is situated under the hood. The company claims that while a standard RC F goes from zero to 60mph in 4.2 seconds the new Fuji Speedway Edition takes only 3.96 seconds. An innovative eight-speed direct automatic transmission enables the power to reach rear wheels. This became possible with the paddle shifters and the rev-matching feature.
The other important features include F-tuned adaptive variable suspension, triple beam LED headlights, LED taillights, and the new 19-inch wheels that are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports 4 S. the RC F have a Carbon Package with a carbon-fiber roof and a bevy of carbon aero bits like lower door moldings, rear bumper lip, and attractable wing spoiler. It is also attached with a heated steering wheel and heated or ventilated front seats.
2022 Lexus RC F varieties will come with a 10.3 –inch infotainment split screen and Android Auto and Amazon Alexa etc. It also have optional facilities of an 835W Mark Levinson audio system with 17 speakers. Lexus still doesn’t mentioned anything about the price of the vehicle but it will arrive at dealerships this month.
