According to sources, Sony is working on the Sony Xperia M Ultra, which would be the company’s premium mid range offering. Interestingly, the handset is said to feature the USB Type-C port along with a fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of specifications, the Sony Xperia M Ultra will reportedly come with a whopping 6-inch IPS display, complemented by full HD screen resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 chipset is believed to power this gigantic device.
The Xperia M Ultra is rumored to come with 32GB of native storage space, backed by 3GB of RAM. A solid 4,280 mAh battery unit will reportedly help keep the lights on.
When it comes to camera configuration, this handset will sport a 23-MP rear-facing sensor under a dual-camera setup. In addition, a 16-MP snapper will be mounted at the front for selfies and video chats. The Xperia M Ultra is not the only Sony device waiting to be unveiled. Rumor has it that Sony Xperia C6 Ultra is also under development. There is no word on pricing and availability of the phone.
