Sony has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for the Xperia Z3, Z2 and Z3 Compact smartphones and the Xperia Z2 Tablet in India. The Marshmallow update for these devices is being rolled out over-the-air in phases, and is also available via Sony’s PC companion app.
As per the official change-log, the Android Marshmallow update for the Xperia Z3, Z2, Z3 Compact and Z2 Tablet comes with enhanced privacy settings with new app permissions, a new camera interface with easier switching between camera modes, a new Xperia Messaging application with stickers and more emojis, and a Direct Share feature.
