Samsung has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone that has a built-in projector, called Galaxy Beam 2. The device can project dim videos and presentation slides onto a flat surface. Other features of the device include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB and a very basic 800×480 4.66-inch display. The phone comes with a 2,600 mAh battery and the connectivity options include USB 2.0, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-SIM slot. Samsung has launched Galaxy Beam 2 on China Mobile’s 3G network with pricing TBA, however there is no information on the international release of the device.
