Vivo Y21s with triple rear cameras launched

Vivo has launched the Vivo Y21s in the Indonesian market. It is a slightly different version of the Vivo Y21 that was launched in India last month. The differences between the two phones are found in the camera and processor specifications. It has MediaTek Helio G80 Gaming SoC and a triple rear camera setup.

In the Indonesian market the Vivo Y21s will cost about IDR 2,799,000 for the single 4GB + 128GB storage variant. The colour options provided are Midnight Blue and Pearl White colour. The phone will be available for purchase only from the online site Shopee. The global launch has not yet announced.

Vivo Y21s runs on Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11.1. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 gaming SoC. The 128GB storage can be expanded up to 1TB with the help of the microSD card slot. The triple rear camera setup houses a 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies the phone houses an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone is similar in looks to Vivo Y21.

An 18W fast charging is supported by the 5,000mAh battery present on the Vivo Y21s. For connectivity, options like a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5, dual-SIM slots, 4G, GPS, OTG, and the like are provided. The dimensions measure 164x76x8mm and the weighs about 182 grams. Other than the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, it has other sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope.
