Samsung has announced the launch of its EVO +Plus 256GB microSD card.
This new card offers the highest capacity for a microSD card in its class while promising fast speeds. It is designed for use with smartphones, tablets, 360-degree video recorders, drones, action cameras and more.
256GB is a large amount of storage, which should give you what you need for along time to come. The card promises to deliver great performance because of Samsung’s advanced V-NAND technology which gives speeds up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively.
This level of performance will be great for both professionals as well as general consumers who want to store high-resolution photography and 4K videos, as well as other graphic-intensive media like games and virtual reality experiences. Samsung is going to offer the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card with a limited 10-year warranty in more than 50 countries, including the United States, for $249.99 starting this June.
