OnePlus launched a special Cobalt Edition version of its smartwatch alongside the standard model today. To remind you, OnePlus launched its first smartwatch at the OnePlus 9 series launch earlier this year. At the time of the launch, OnePlus said the special limited edition model will launch soon in India.
The Cobalt Edition OnePlus smartwatch has been launched in India for Rs 19,999. It will go on sale starting July 16 via OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, and OnePlus Experience Stores at 12 pm. Interested customers can pre-book the smartwatch between July 7-10 for Rs 1,000.
The special edition OnePlus smartwatch has a unique watch face with specially treated sapphire glass and a Mohs rating of 9 for enhanced brightness and scratch resistance. The watch case is crafted from cobalt alloy, which is claimed to be twice as hard and more corrosion resistant than traditional stainless steel.
Other specs and features are the same as the standard Watch. It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 454×454 pixel resolution. The Watch sports an STM32 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It boots RTOS-based software, offers sleep tracking, heart rating monitoring, and stress tracking features. The OnePlus Watch also features a SpO2 sensor, which can be used to measure the blood-oxygen level.
The new OnePlus Watch packs a 402 mAh battery and offers up to two weeks of battery life on a single charge. The watch is certified for IP68 water and dust resistance and also has 5ATM water-resistant rating. In terms of connectivity, the watch offers Bluetooth 5.0 LE support.
