OnePlus Nord 2 was available to Amazon Prime customers from last week. Now the device is up for open sale in India through Amazon and the OnePlus official website. The device is the updated version of last year’s OnePlus Nord and the first handset the company launched after its merger with Oppo.
It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC and is priced at Rs. 29,999 in the Indian market for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. For the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant, the price is set at Rs. 34,999. The available colour options are Blue Haze, and Gray Sierra, and Green Woods which is available in India only. The company is planning to release a 6GB RAM variant in India by late August or September.
The 6.43-inch AMOLED display has a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. It weighs almost 189 grams with 8.2mm thickness. The smartphone features OxygenOS 11.3 and is confirmed to get 2 OS updates with three years of software support. The 4,500mAh battery allows for 65W fast charging and can charge the device from zero percent to a hundred percent in thirty minutes. The smartphone has an alert slider, a dual speaker, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, multiple 5G band support and AI features for camera and display.
OnePlus Nord 2 has a triple camera at the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP mono lens. The front camera features a 32MP Sony IMX615 camera.
