Microsoft will bring cloud gaming to Xbox consoles soon

Microsoft allows features for game streaming in its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Surprisingly this feature was not available on its Xbox consoles. This streaming feature was available on all the other platforms including smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

Taking this into consideration, Microsoft has announced that it will bring the xCloud streaming platform onto the Xbox consoles this holiday season. It will be a good addition to gamers who take advantage of game streaming. The announcement was made during Gamescom. Xbox consoles in the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the Xbox One will avail this feature.

Microsoft was doing well concerning Xbox backwards compatibility. It is now the role of developers to provide compatibility. The new feature will allow not only Xbox Series X/S users to play Xbox One games. It will allow Xbox One gamers to play Xbox Series X/S games as well.

The company has said that all games will not get this streaming feature. According to the company, a total of more than 100 games can be played without actually downloading them. The games which are cloud-compatible will display a cloud icon next to them, according to the company.
