iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 will launch in India today

In India, iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be released later today. The iOS update will be available for recent iPhone models and the seventh-generation iPod touch, but the iPadOS will only be available for the latest iPad devices. Through iOS 15, Apple has added new features such as SharePlay and Focus, as well as improved the FaceTime and messaging experiences. The iPadOS 15 update, on the other hand, improves multitasking by adding Slide Over and Split View options. Apple is releasing watchOS 8 for Apple Watch owners in addition to iOS and iPadOS updates.

When Apple unveiled the iPhone 13 and new iPad series last week, it also announced the introduction of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. In the evening, compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users in India should be able to get the upgrades. The iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and iPhone SE Plus are all compatible with the iOS 15 update (2020). The update will also be preloaded on the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, and iPhone 13 Pro Max, and will be accessible for download on the iPod touch (7th generation).

Users with an eligible iPhone or iPod touch will be able to download iOS 15 by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update whenever the update is available from Apple. If you have previously selected that option on your Apple device, the update will be downloaded immediately. You can also use a Mac computer to manually download iOS 15 to your device.

We recommend that customers back up their devices using iCloud or a PC before starting the update procedure. To download the update, the device must have a sufficient level of battery charge or be plugged in and charging. Furthermore, users are advised to download the update package using a high-speed Wi-Fi network or data access.

One of the most apparent enhancements that iOS 15 will bring to your iPhone, as unveiled at WWDC 2021 in June, is SharePlay, which allows you to share the movie or show you’re viewing with your friends and family. With the latest iOS version, iPhone and iPod touch users will be able to share their screens with others during FaceTime sessions. FaceTime has also been updated with a grid view in which the speaker is automatically highlighted at the bottom.

With iOS 15, users will be able to invite others via a link. This means that users of Windows and Android will be able to join a FaceTime call as well. Via the Photos app, the upcoming iOS version will include a section called Shared with You, which will display links, images, and other items shared in Messages. Other Apple programmes, such as Apple Music and Safari, will have a Shared with You area as well.

New Memoji characters, multi-colored headwear, and accessibility customizations such as cochlear implants, oxygen tubes, and soft helmets will all be included in the iOS 15 upgrade. In iOS 15, Apple will include a Focus function that allows you to concentrate on your job or take a break. It will present you with a variety of distraction-reduction options, such as driving, fitness, gaming, and mindfulness.

Redesigned notifications and summary support will be included in the new iOS version. Apple Maps, Safari, and Siri, which come pre-installed on the iPhone, will also receive updates. Live text support and live text translation will be available in photos in iOS 15.

The devices that are compatible with iPadOS 15 are iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st generation), iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 9.7-inch, iPad (8th generation), iPad (7th generation), iPad (6th generation), iPad (5th generation), iPad mini (5th generation), iPad mini 4, iPad Air (4th generation), iPad Air (3rd generation), and iPad Air 2. The new iPad and iPad mini will come preloaded with the updated version.

By heading to Settings > General > Software Update on a compatible iPad model, users will be able to download iOS 15. If you’ve enabled that option, it will also be available automatically.

The iPadOS 15 upgrade will include features such as SharePlay and Focus, which are currently available on iOS 15 for iPhone and iPod touch users. It will, however, feature a redesigned UI with widget support and improved multitasking capabilities. With the App Switcher, users will be able to create Split View spaces on one screen and use keyboard shortcuts.

On iPadOS 15, Apple will make Quick Note a system-wide function. FaceTime, Messages, and Safari will all be updated on the latest iPadOS version.

Apple is launching watchOS 8 for Apple Watch users with the Apple Watch Series 3 and higher, as well as new iOS and iPadOS versions, according to the company’s website. Users must have an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 15 to utilize it. If your iPhone or iPad is compatible, you can get watchOS 8 by navigating to General > Software Update in the Watch app. If your Apple Watch is connected to Wi-Fi, you can also download the update by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.

A Portrait watch face, a Memories collection in a mosaic grid, the option to exchange photographs via Messages and Mail, and an upgraded Home are all included in the watchOS 8 update. As well as a redesigned Breathe app, the new version will contain Focus and Mindfulness.
