Dell’s range of gaming computers was announced by the company globally earlier this year. Many were eagerly waiting for the launch of Alienware m15 Ryzen-Edition in India as it marked the company’s first Ryzen-powered laptop in over a decade. But it has been reported that the product was available on Dell’s online store since the end of June 2021. The company’s silence on its launch in India is rather speculative as it is one of Alienware’s first AMD-powered laptops since 2007.
The company has only brought one new variant for its sale in India and that too with limited customization options. The 15.6inches 1080p display has support for up to 165Hz Refresh rate. It is powered with an AMD Ryzen R7 5800 which is an octa-core CPU with a base clock of 3.2GHz and a maximum boost clock of up to 4.4GHz. It is also supported with the new RTX 30 series laptop GPUs. The storage measures 512GB PCle M.2 SSD. The 16GB DDR4 memory clocked at 3200MHz can be upgraded if need because of the availability of two SODIMM slots. The keyboard is a standard mSeries 4-Zone AlienFX RGB model and has the following connectivity options- Wi-Fi 6AX 1650 802.11ax2x2 wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.2.
