In the hopes of keeping up with other big players, including Apple and Google, Blackberry appears to be working on a new all-touchscreen device. A well-respected tweeted by Evan Blass, has posted a photo of what he calls the ‘BlackBerry Motion’ smartphone. While BlackBerry is yet to confirm the rumours, a spokesperson for TCL – the firm behind the smartphone – has previously said that the firm will reveal a new device this month.
Evan Blass twitted , along with the caption: ‘Goodbye, Krypton. Hello, BlackBerry Motion.’
Moving away from Blackberry’s signature keyboard, the device appears to have an all-touchscreen display.
Blackberry is yet to confirm the name of the device, but in August, Francois Mahieu, head of global sales at TCL, said that a new device would launch this month. The only detail confirmed by Mr Mahieu is that the smartphone will be water resistant.
