The official Indian website of Apple Music has been updated to announce the latest addition to Apple Music in India. The features include Apple Music Lossless and support for Dolby Atmos. The features which were introduced last May and began accessible to users in June have finally made their way to India. The features are now available to Indian users of iOS devices and Apple TV. It has also been noticed that some Android beta users also have access to these features.
Apple Music introduced Lossless Audio, Spatial Audio, and Dolby Atmos support for its music platform subscribers in May. This comes with no additional charges on subscription. Later it announced that the features will be available not only to Apple Music subscribers but also to iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV 4K users. the updates were then notified to be available soon in India. Users are already getting these features on their devices.
There were many people who shared pictures on Twitter saying that these features are now accessible in India, but the rollout hasn’t been finished as many users did not find the full features. Also, the features are now limited to certain albums. It is very likely that soon these features will be available in full, to everyone.
The features also show their presence on the beta version of Apple Music on some Android devices.
