After the launch of the Vivo Y53s 5G variant in China last month, Vivo launched its counterpart in Vietnam as a 4G variant. Powered by Helio G80 SoC processor, some of the features of the 4G variant remain the same as the 5G variant but extreme changes are made in terms of selfie camera and fast charging capacity. In both these specifications the new variant performs far better than the 5G variant. The 5G variant comes with an 8 MP camera while it is increased to 16MP in the latest model along with a 64MP primary camera and 2MP macro cameras on the rear. The display is 6.58” fullHD with LCD. The OS is Android based Funtouch OS 11.1 which is different from the OS of the 5G variant which is available exclusively for China. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side and the model comes with USB-C port. The sensor is argued to unlock the phone in 0.24 seconds. It also has a microSD card slot.
The model features 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and 5000mAh battery. Two colour variants are available for the model namely Blue Purple and Black Green. The model will be available for a sum of VND6,990,000 in Vietnam.
