YU Televentures, a sub brand of Micromax, is all set to announce its next flagship smartphone on May 19, Called YU Yunicorn.
Recently, Micromax co-founder, Rahul Sharma issued a trailer to confirm the existence of YU’s next flagship device. Now the company has issued an invite for an event in New Delhi on May 19 where in it will launch the smartphone.
The media invitation reads, “Fantasy will soon become reality. Join us in the unveiling of the phone that will redefine flagships – ‘YUNICORN’.”
As of now, the company has not revealed the features of the smartphone. However being a flagship device, we would expect the YU Yunicorn smartphone to have high end specifications.
Last month, YU Televentures launched the Yu Yureka Note in India for Rs 13,499. The Yureka Note has 6-inch Full HD Display, a Mediatek MT 6753T octa core processor, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner (at the back), 4000 mAh battery, 13 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel front camera, Dual Speakers with NXP smart PA, and Gorilla Glass 3 display Protection.
Running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1, the new smartphone gives users the access to a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc.
