Xiaomi has been manufacturing one of the best smartphones with high end hardware and low end prices. This has got the world’s attention as a 5-year-old tech company from China has been rocking the smartphone industry since two years now. After the launch of the flagship Mi 5 at the MWC in February, and the Redmi Note 3 in March, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the next smartphone, the Mi Max phablet.
The Mi Max is speculated to be a larger smartphone with a display size of more than 6-inches, just short of being a tablet. The phablet is believed to have a 6.4-inch display and Xiaomi has been teasing the device with an ad that says it is big enough to fit your pocket. The Mi Max is also believed to be built around Xiaomi’s own chipset that been in the works for a while now. Alongside the phablet, Xiaomi is also said to be launching the next version of their famous MIUI operating system, V8. The new MIUI V8 is also believed to be built on Android Marshmallow with a host of new features included in it.
