Mi Band has been one of the ground breaking innovation from Xiaomi by offering a handful of great features at an affordable price tag.
Recently, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun has revealed the Mi Band 2 which is equipped with a LED display that shows the time and other information.
Unlike the first generation Mi Band, the Mi Band 2 added a button next to the screen. According to sources, the “radio button” is a touch button, and Mi Band 2 will officially publish in 10th May along with the Xiaomi Max. Besides the LED display and the physical button, Mi Band 2 is rumoured to be capable of perform wireless control over a drone too.
Xiaomi have been working on a drone that can follow the wearer of a Mi Band and even receive simple commands from gestures made by a Mi Band wearer. At the May 10 launch event in Beijing, the company will also introduce its Mi Max smartphone featuring a 6.4-inch screen along with the MIUI 8 interface based on Android Marshmallow operating system.
