Vivo has unveiled its latest range of flagship phones called the X70 series. The camera partnership between the famous lens company Zeiss and Vivo has been extended as witnessed from these models. It is also showing an enhanced version from the X50 and X60 phones earlier.
The higher-end phone X70 Pro Plus will have a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and a 6.783-inch 1440p OLED screen. The 4,500mAh battery present on it will employ Vivo’s 55W FlashCharge technology. It will also feature a 50W wireless fast charging that can also work with Qi. Vivo is bringing wireless charging features to its phones for the first time. It will make the phones more practical to be used by people who have already installed Qi chargers in their houses.
The camera setup of the X70 Pro Plus is by Zeiss and includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel gimbal-stabilized ultrawide, a 12-megapixel telephoto, and an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto. Vivo has used Distagon, Planar, and Sonnar simulated bokeh models on the phones. The X70 Pro Plus will also have a new Vivo-designed image processor called the Imaging Chip V1. It is designed in such a way to enhance performance reduction of noise and motion compensation.
As for the X70 Pro and X70 phones, smaller 6.56-inch 120Hz displays are given. It will have MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processors and 44W FlashCharge. Vivo has not given support for wireless charging on these models. The X70 Pro camera system will have a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The X70 model will have a triple camera setup with a 40-megapixel primary and two 12-megapixel sensors.
Vivo hasn’t provided details about the pricing and launch of these models. It announced that these models will be slowly rolled out in markets like India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, and more.
