Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is getting ready to enter the Indian market with the launch of X5Max, which is touted to be the world’s slimmest smartphone. The launch event is scheduled for December 15 in New Delhi. The phone had already made its appearance on Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website. The website has listed its features.
It is said to be the thinnest device, its thickness is 4.75mm, which is 0.10mm thinner than Oppo R5 (the current world’s slimmest phone). Apart from this, Vivo X5Max sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) display, a 1.7GHz MediaTek oct-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Connectivity options include 4G TD-LTE, offering support for Indian 4G bands.
