Toshiba has launched a new tablet in India, called WT-8. The device is made exclusive on Amazon. Lets jump into the specifications right away, the Toshiba WT-8 sports an 8-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel camera at the front. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There is also 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The tablet is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of battery life for general usage and up to 8 hours of video playback. Other add-ons are Dolby Digital Plus audio and pre-loaded apps like Xbox Music and Video, Kindle Reader, Skype and a one-year free subscription to Office 365. The tablet runs on Windows 8.1. Toshiba WT-8 tablet is priced at Rs 15,490, and is on sale starting today.
