Realme GT 7 Pro Confirmed for India Launch Later This Year
The Realme GT 7 Pro, successor to the Realme GT 5 Pro, is set to launch in India later this year. While the company has yet to disclose the exact launch timeline or other details, key specifications have recently surfaced online. It is rumored to be among the first smartphones to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon chipset. A tipster has also provided insights into the camera and fingerprint sensor specifications.
Expected Specifications of Realme GT 7 Pro
According to a Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu, the Realme GT 7 Pro might come with a periscope telephoto camera, offering high optical zoom capabilities. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which promises more accurate readings compared to traditional optical scanners.
Earlier leaks suggested that the Realme GT 7 Pro would launch with Qualcomm’s anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, expected to be unveiled in October. While the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are projected to be the first devices in China with this chipset, the Realme GT 7 Pro could be the first to launch globally outside of China with this new SoC.
Anticipated Launch Timeline
The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to follow the launch pattern of its predecessor, the Realme GT 5 Pro, which debuted in December 2023. If this pattern holds, the Realme GT 7 Pro may also be unveiled in December this year. Meanwhile, Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT 6 in India and globally on June 20.
