
Enterprise software company Linear has secured $82 million in a recent Series C funding round, bringing its total capital raised to over $134 million. The round was led by Accel, with backing from other notable investors including 01A, Sequoia, Seven Seven Six, and Designer Fund.
The latest investment values the company at approximately $1.25 billion.
Linear specializes in building tools for developers to efficiently manage software bugs, feature requests, and overall product development workflows. The platform also incorporates AI features aimed at improving coding productivity.
With a customer base exceeding 15,000 companies including names in AI and tech Linear reported a 280% increase in profits over the past year.
Chief Executive Officer Karri Saarinen revealed that the new funding will support product expansion and a strategic push to onboard larger enterprise clients. The company currently employs around 80 people, many of whom operate remotely.
