Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is launched in India with specifications like triple rear cameras and MediaTek Dimensity Soc. The new 5G variant of the company has a waterdrop display notch for the front camera. There are also 11 5G bands for faster connectivity.

6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant costs around Rs.19,999. The other variant 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs.21,999. The three colour options available are Grey, Mint, and Violet. The phones can be purchased from retail stores in India starting from July 25th. In Europe, where it was originally launched it was priced at EUR 229 (approx. Rs.20,100) for the 4GB+64GB storage variant and the 4GB+128Gb storage variant at EUR 249 (approx. Rs.21,800). The 4G variant of the Galaxy A22 was launched in India last month.

It is dual-SIM enabled and runs on Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1. the display is a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Infinity-V Display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC comes along with 8GB of RAM. The triple rear cameras consist of a 48MP primary camera, 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and 2Mp depth sensor. It has an 8 MP camera on the front.

The internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card. Other than 5G connectivity, it also supports 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 5000mAH battery supports 15W fast charging.
