The Realme 8s 5G is slated to go on sale for the first time in India today. In India, the phone was released alongside the Realme 8i last week. The Realme 8s 5G sale will start at 12 p.m. (noon) and will be available on Flipkart, Realme.com, and major offline shops across India. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and a triple back camera array with a 64-megapixel primary sensor are among the Realme 8’s prominent features.
As previously stated, the Realme 8s 5G will be on sale at 12 p.m. (noon) on Flipkart and Realme.com. It will also be sold at major brick-and-mortar stores across the country. The 6GB + 128GB storage edition of the Realme 8s 5G costs Rs. 17,999, while the 8GB + 128GB storage model costs Rs. 19,999. It will come in two colours: Universe Blue and Universe Purple.
The Realme 8s 5G is powered by Android 11 and comes with Realme UI 2.0 on top. A 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate is included. The Realme 8s 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, as well as 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB) via a dedicated slot.
In terms of optics, the Realme 8s 5G features a triple rear camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens. A 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens are also included. The Realme 8s 5G has a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.1 lens.
The Realme 8s 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart Charge fast charging (an 11V/3A charger is included in the package). 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity options. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the side.
