After successfully powering Android phones with their processors, Qualcomm decided to enter a new area- smartphones. They partnered with Asus to come up with a smartphone available exclusively to the Snapdragon Insiders community. With a neat outlook embodied with a high-end Snapdragon 888 processor and a 4000 mAh battery matches with some of the models of Asus. The 16GB RAM and 512GB OF UFS 3.1 storage makes it a catch. It runs on Android 11 and weighs about 210g. The dimensions followed are 173.15 x 77.25 x 9.5 mm.
The selfie camera itself comes with 24 MP while the main camera is 64 MP along with a 12 MP ultrawide sensor, 8MP telephoto sensor, and 3x optical zoom. The headphone jack is removed but they provide a wireless earbud built by Master & Dynamic along with the model for free. The only available color variant is Midnight blue which matches the colour of the earbuds.
The price is fixed at $1,499 and is now available only to the community members. The release date is not fixed but it is confirmed that the model will be available in countries including UK, US, Japan, and South Korea for the launch and will be made available in India soon after the launch.
