Soon after launching the Eluga Arc with a fingerprint sensor and a 4.7-inch display earlier this month, Panasonic has launched a new Android phone in India called the Eluga I3. The phone comes as a successor to the Eluga I2, which was launched in the country in August last year. The Eluga I3 sports a textured back panel for better grip, and comes with 4G LTE and VoLTE (voice over LTE) support.
The Panasonic Eluga I3 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, and is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor of unknown make, aided by 2GB of RAM. For storage, it gets 16GB of internal memory, which can be further topped up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card. The camera department includes a 13MP rear snapper with an LED flash, and a 5MP front shooter. Apart from 4G and VoLTE, the phone’s other connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB and A-GPS. The device is fuelled by a 2,700mAh battery, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the brand’s Fit Home UI on top.
The Panasonic Eluga I3 has been priced at Rs 9,290, and will be available across channels in three colour options – Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Marine Blue.
