Micromax launched its Selfie 2 smartphone in July and with in two months the company has now introduced the sequel – the Selfie 3 in India. The Micromax Selfie 3 has been priced in India at Rs. 11,999 and will be made available in offline stores across the country starting Friday.
The Micromax Selfie 3 sports a 16-megapixel Samsung sensor, tagged with selfie flash at front for taking selfies. The company says that the incorporation of selfie flash ensures that the users don’t get unnatural images that usually come with the regular flash. The company has also added a beauty mode to allow users with more options while clicking images from the front camera. At the rear end, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel Sony sensor.
The device also supports Auto Scene Detection which analyses the type of scene and shooting conditions you’re photographing and then automatically provides the users with options to select the best settings. It also has Portrait mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode etc.
Other specifications, the Micromax Selfie 3 runs Android Nougat out of the box and packs a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Micromax Selfie 3 comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card. The connectivity options offered by the handset include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.2. The Micromax Selfie 3 houses a 3000mAh battery
It is made available in Black and Blue colours.
