Micromax has announced the launch of two selfie smartphones, namely Bolt Selfie and Canvas Selfie 4. The Micromax Bolt Selfie is priced at Rs 4,999 and is exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart. The Canvas Selfie 4 will be available in the market by the end of this month but Micromax has not announced its price yet.
The Micromax Bolt Selfie features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) 64-bit processor, along with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and option to expand up-to 32GB with micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a 1750 mAh battery, which claims to offers up-to 18 hours of talktime and up-to 260 hours of standby time on 2G network.
The Bolt Selfie sports a 5-mega pixel camera setup on back as well as on front panel. The rear camera comes with auto-focus and LED flash light. Further, the Micromax Bolt Selfie offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a MicroUSB port, Gravity, proximity, and light sensors.
The smartphone also comes with various pre-loaded apps such as Indus, Amazon shopping, App Bazaar, App center, Clean master, Hike, Ixigo cabs, M!live, Music by Gaana, Opera mini, Quikr, Scandid, Snapdeal, Travel, CM Locker and CM security, Wallet Games: Temple run paradise and Arjun prince of bali.
On the other hand, the Micromax Canvas Selfie 4 offers 8 mega pixel camera both in the front and rear panels. It has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 3G connectivity, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, 32 GB expandable storage slot, Android Marshmallow operating system and a 5 inch screen.
