Lenovo has unveiled two new premium tablets, both of which are 5G-enabled in some places. The Tab P12 Pro and Tab P11 5G are two tablets that belong to Lenovo’s P-Series. The P12 Pro is the first of the tablets, and it is a high-end multimedia tablet.
The Android tablet features a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. For less grainy images, Lenovo uses an S-Stripe RGB subpixel technology. When used in extreme mode, the screen can display 107 percent of the NTSC colour spectrum while also giving deep blacks and up to 600 nits of brightness. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are both supported.
The tablet’s integrated sound is a significant feature for multimedia use. The P12 Pro is equipped with a quartet of JBL SLS surround sound speakers with high excursion and Dolby Atmos technology. Lenovo’s Snapdragon 870 Mobile Platform has 8 GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The Qualcomm FastConnect 6800 Mobile Connectivity Subsystem, which also supports optional 5G, enables Wi-Fi 6. A 10,200mAh battery provides power, and 45W rapid chargers are supported.
The Lenovo Precision Pen 3 is also supported by the tablet. A full-sized snap-on keyboard with an integrated trackpad is included in the kit. The keyboard houses 16 function keys with a key travel of 1.3mm and 19.0mm key pitch that ensures comfortable typing.
The Tab P11 5G, which has an 11-inch IPS display, is Lenovo’s other tablet. It, too, uses a nano-SIM card to support Dolby Vision and 5G technologies. It also works with a Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and an optional keyboard. A Snapdragon 750G 5G Mobile Platform, 8 gigabytes of RAM, and 256 gigabytes of storage power the device. A 7700mAh rechargeable battery provides power, and it enables a 20W quick charge.
In October, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro with Wi-Fi only will be available for $609.99. A 5G model will not be available in North America, but it will be available in other countries for €899. Finally, while the Lenovo Tab P11 5G will not be available in North America, it will be available in Europe starting at €499.
