HTC has announced Desire 820 in India and it will go on sale sometime in early November. The highlighted feature her is the 8-megapixel selfie camera, which HTC claims to be the world’s best. The device will come in two variants with the second variant referred to as Desire 820q. The two variants are differentiated by the processor, the 820 being powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, and 820q powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor.
Apart from this, the device features a 5.5-inch HD 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2,600mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 22.4 hours of 3G talk time, or up to 424 hours on standby mode. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under HTC’s Sense UI. The HTC Desire 820 will come with Dot View Case and will be available in multiple color variants.
