Along with E8, HTC has also launched Desire 616 in India. The device sports a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek’s “true” MT6592 octa-core chipset, along with Mali-450MP4 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. The software under the hood is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. HTC Desire 616 will be available starting next week at a price of Rs 16,900.
