HTC, on Tuesday, unveiled the new mid range smartphone called the Desire 830 in Taiwan. The new HTC Desire 830 is said to be the successor of 2015 model Desire 820 and comes with major upgrades in terms of internal hardware.
It sports 5.5-inch full HD display and comes with 64-bit class 1.5GHz MediaTek Helio X10 backed by ARM Mali-T720 graphics engine, 3GB RAM, 32GB in built memory and a 2800mAh battery. Desire 830 also has a 13MP primary camera on the back with LED Flash, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, a 4µp (UltraPixel) front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 26.8mm wide angle lens and Boom Sound stereo speakers with Dolby audio technology.
HTC has confirmed that the new Desire 830 will be released initially in the company’s home market Taiwan May 6 onwards for Rs. 20,590. It will be available in white/orange and white/blue colour combinations. As of now, there is no official word from HTC on when Desire 830 will be made available in international markets.
