In April this year, the Taiwanese brand HTC introduced its latest flagship dubbed the 10 as the world’s first smartphone boasting OIS-enabled front and rear shooters. Now at an event in New Delhi, the company has launched its flagship in India along with its sibling called HTC 10 Lifestyle. The smartphones sport a new metal unibody design, a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button, HTC’s Boom Sound Hi-Fi Edition speakers with Dolby Audio, three microphones with noise cancellation, and personal audio profile.
Coming to the other specs, the HTC 10 boasts a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 QHD display, and runs Android Marshmallow with the latest Sense UI on top. In terms of the hardware, the phone employs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, aided by 4-gigs of RAM. It offers 32GB memory on board, and supports microSD cards of up to 2TB in size. Connectivity features include a USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, DLNA, DisplayPort, Miracast, AirPlay, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and A-GPS. The handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology, allowing it to be charged up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
The HTC 10 boasts a 12-UltraPixel 2 camera with f/1.8 aperture at the back, complemented by laser autofocus, optical image stabilisation and a dual-tone LED flash. The shooter also features slow-mo recording, 4K video recording with Hi-Res audio, Video Pic, Zoe Capture and Hyperlapse. For selfies, it gets a 5-megapixel OIS snapper with f/1.8 aperture, auto HDR, an ultra-wide angle lens, and live makeup. HTC is also touting the 10 as the first phone to sport stereo 24-bit Hi-Res audio recording, which as per the brand, lets you capture 256 times more details than standard recording.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle features similar specs as to its flagship brother with the only difference being the core hardware – it’s powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC backed by 3GB of RAM.

It will be going on sale on June 5th, and the first 500 customers will get the Ice View cover for free.
