Harley-Davidson’s first e-bike did not have a vintage model. Many people were disappointed by this fact. But the company is now planning to release a similar bike that will resemble the retro model named the MOSH/TRIBUTE by the end of quarter 4 of 2021. It will be available for pre-order for $5,999. It will have the same features of MOSH/CTY in a vintage-looking model.
The Gates carbon belt drive, built-in lighting, and TRP hydraulic disc brakes are all included in the functionality of the more contemporary-looking variant. The replaceable 529Wh battery is expected to provide a range of up to 105 miles, albeit this may be reduced to 35 miles depending on ride mode, pedalling style, and road conditions.
If you want one, you’ll have to make the choice quickly. Serial 1 is producing only 650 MOSH/TRIBUTE devices, evenly split between the United States and Europe. However, the Harley-Davidson brand has promised additional limited-edition e-bikes “in the future,” so don’t lose up hope if you’re too late.
